"IN THE BEGINNING"
Adam fell to the ground in pain and cried out "God...this really hurts". Looking down to see which rib was ripped from his body the pain became more severe and this time he cried out in pain: "WTF?? You pulled out my 11 meter rib!!!!!"
And so it came to pass that Adam lost his 11 meter rib, never to gain it back again. Throughout the years he preached to his family and friends about this terrible ordeal, and yes, even today, his relatives are still pissed at the loss of 11 meters.....
"IN THE BEGINNING"
[A marriage not made in heaven]
In the beginning Adam had the run of the place - he could go anywhere he wanted and never had a cross thought or moment. THEN, one day, while Adam was strolling about the Ionosphere, GOD came down quickly and removed a rib from Adam.Adam fell to the ground in pain and cried out "God...this really hurts". Looking down to see which rib was ripped from his body the pain became more severe and this time he cried out in pain: "WTF?? You pulled out my 11 meter rib!!!!!"
And so it came to pass that Adam lost his 11 meter rib, never to gain it back again. Throughout the years he preached to his family and friends about this terrible ordeal, and yes, even today, his relatives are still pissed at the loss of 11 meters.....

a reprint of some ham realted stuff emcom ok for ham workers
http://nimbusters.org/hams/read.php?board=1&id=146506
Here's some actual ham content for the board, instead of the routine,
brain-dead kiddy porn from Markie Mularkie, Toad, and the Karol crowd.
According to RM-10-124, the FCC will allow us to operate during
emergencies, even if we're employess of the 'served agency.'
Employees are not being paid to operate an Amateur Radio station per
se, rather they are employees operating an Amateur Radio station
incidental to an emergency preparedness drill (or bonafide emergency,
for that matter) while in a paid status at work.
eg: I happen to be an ER Nurse (really!)..I have my HT with me...We
get hit by a tornado and the lights go out and the phones are dead. I
am in a paid status, using my Amateur Radio license and facilities to
effect emergency communications. It's no longer 'illegal' for me to do
that, not that I ever expected the FCC would have tried to cite me (or
anyone else, for that matter) in those circumstances anyway!!
Perhaps some delineation needed to be made by the FCC, but I think the
entire NPRM / R&O was a stick-and-pony show for the nit-pickers and
the Chicken Little crowd over this strawman argument about our bands
being 'taken over' for 'routine' EmComm uses.

"robin hood (2010)"
was nicely done john was portrayed as brighter than in most versions but as treacherous as ever and somehow Richard never made it home in this version
VERY VERY violent although they could have ramped that up a bit more but as it was the violence is pretty high Robin and Marion have been taken to a seriously different manner than any version I can remember.

In case you haven't read the news today -- here are a few links to catch up. DADT FINALLY looks more like it did back when it was first implemented, before all of the paranoid rumor investigations and unreasonable pursuits began, and both Sec. Gates and ADM Mullen say this is just one step with the end goal being repeal:

the dems will anything but compromise to pass Health care bill
the dems as it seems will do anything execpt talk to the Gop to pass this bill
from dickmorris.com
From a top level source in the House comes the news that the Democrats are still short of the 216 votes they need to pass Obamacare. They have decided, however, to go for broke on Sunday and attempt to pass it whether or not they have enough support. They feel that only by forcing a vote can the force members off the fence. They hope that by employing all means at their disposal, they can round up enough votes for passage. But, if they don't have the votes, they will allow the measure to be defeated. One source called it a "suicide run."

Elizabeth lake is really a deep pond on a fault line referred to as a sag pond. The first settlers were of Spanish descent and the priests
claimed the lake was haunted by a fire breathing dragon that belonged to the Devil. The ranchers claimed the dragon would come out at night - eat some of the of the cattle then set ranches & outbuildings on fire with his fiery breath. One rancher,Don Miguel Leonis stood up to the creature claimed the lake was haunted by a fire breathing dragon that belonged to the Devil. The ranchers claimed the dragon would come out at night
When his bullets bounced off the creature,Don Miguel yelling and growling like a bear charged & hit the creature in the nose with his rifle
The creature returned to the lake to recover from his wound then several days later flew away to Arizona or so goes the legend.

Hi WorldRadio Online readers!
You are receiving this email because you signed up for updates from

these periodic emails, please go to
http://mailman.sunserver.com/mailman/listinfo/worldradio-L.
>From that website, you can update your email address or remove yourself
from the list.
Spring must be just around the corner because the free March issue of WRO
is now posted to the web for your reading pleasure. All you have to do is
go to the CQ home page at http://www.cq-amateur-radio.com . While you're
on the web page, check out the highlights of the CQ magazine and
bookstore. CQ is available on many newsstands or you may subscribe through
the website.
To find WRO, click on the WorldRadio Online box on the left side of the page.
That will take you to the WorldRadio Online welcome page, where you will
have several options for viewing/downloading the issue.
You can download the entire magazine by clicking on the photo of the
cover. If you have a slower connection, such as dial-up, you may want to
click on the Table of Contents page and download it in sections.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have it, scroll to the
bottom of the WorldRadio Online welcome page and in the bottom left
corner, you will find a link to a free download.
Also on the WorldRadio Online page are links to the archives. You can
download back issues (February 2009 - February 2010). You will also find a
link to tips for downloading in case you're having problems.
March Issue Highlights
If you have college-bound hams in your family, you will want to pay
special attention to the March WRO issue. It details the Foundation for
Amateur Radio (FAR) scholarships that are available for 2010. Some of the
scholarships have residency requirements or "course of study"
requirements, but most of them are very liberal. The scholarships can be
as high as $5,000, and I don't need to remind you how expensive it can be
to put kids through college. It doesn't cost anything to apply, so I
recommend giving it a shot. The application deadline is in March, so don't
put it off.
Of course, there are your regular favorites, including Aerials by Krusty
Ole Kurt, Rules and Regs, Trail-Friendly Radio, EmComm, Propagation, YLs
and more.
This is my last edition of WRO as editor. I enjoyed being a part of your
ham life, both as a columnist and an editor. We've become like a family
and I am going to miss that. I'll be at Hamvention ® in May, so stop by
the FISTS booth and say hello! My direct email is nancy@tir.com if you'd
like to drop me a note.
If you have comments about WRO, please don't hit the reply button for this

be read. Send your comments to the new editor, Richard Fisher, KI6SN at

Profile
Formerly known as "Wabbit". Severely pwned by Mark Morgan, and by User:Pope_Snarky. Notorious froggers/forgers & sockpuppeteers; various fanbois claim not to be in any way organised, though some of them periodically contradict that by purporting to speak for all. Their numbers are alleged to include: Douglas W. Adair, Lloyd Davies, Steve "The Pedo" Holestain, Roger Wiseman (Ritchie Troy?), Stanley Lawson, Brian Crow, and Dan Jeswald. Note that most or all of these are allegedly no longer posting to usenet.
They occasionally show bits of individuality by putting a non-Morgan- & non-Snark-related nick on their forgeries/froggeries of Mark or Snarky's email/email munge, while at the same time doing the "spokesman" thing. Several of them are extremely bi-/homophobic, while their associates claim not to care; however, since there is reason to suspect the entire "club" is made up of two or three members, that attitude is suspect. They accuse Mark of being a convicted and registered sex offender, but have failed to provide an unbiased source of information. The reasonable assumption is that they are homophobic Morse code-freaks, who are outraged by the success of Mark's side in the "code/no-code" debate, which saw the relaxation of code requirements for ham radio operators. An adequate rebuttal of this latter assumption has been requested for the past two years, with none forthcoming. However, this site had not existed for most of that period, therefore the request is reiterated. They are welcome to join Kookpedia and make their rebuttal in discussion (q.v.).
History
The membership of this fan club is nigh-completely unconfirmed, but some names, such as Adair and Jeswald, are strongly suspected, and Wiseman's current legal status is up in the air -- he may or may not have been incarcerated for possession of pedophilia or for pederasty in 2000, but even if he was, he may well have been paroled years ago. Then again, that rumour from Dean Humphries might well have been made up out of whole cloth (but merely because Dean said it, that does not make it untrue (though Dean has zero credibility)). Hence, he may well have been one of Mark's fanbois all along, or for the past few years, or never. Some of the posts from the 'bois do fit his pattern, however, so it would be rash to rule him out entirely.
One fanboi, who sometimes uses the nym "Hoop Dee Doo" (with the email (nearly identical to Mark's , and definitely close enough for a dyslexic), is known to act as a "spokesman", and has claimed not to be homophobic, but his unwillingness to make a clear distinction between himself and the other 'bois belies that. As the major ISP's in the US dump usenet, more of the 'bois are being forced to turn to Google, which is sort of clarifying the issue of who's who, somewhat. Yahoo and Google accounts, however, are throwaways, perfect for froggery and forgery, so they're still hiding behind Mark and his wife. Some of them have adopted the nyms of User:Pope_Snarky, and become owned by yet another usenetter.
